“The symbol of the upcoming year 2024 according to the Eastern calendar is the Green Wood Dragon. Taking into account the nuances of preferences of this mythical animal, according to Chinese beliefs, I recommend to prepare fish baked in honey with mint. This is a good dish that will decorate the New Year’s table and will arouse the interest of your guests”.

Honey-baked fish with mint

Ingredients:

  • salmon, salmon or trout – 300 g;
  • olive oil – 2 tbsp. tbsp;
  • soy sauce – 3 tablespoons;
  • honey – 2 tbsp;
  • mint – 1/2 bundle;
  • cilantro – 1/2 bunch;
  • parsley – 1/2 bunch;

  1. For the marinade, mix together the olive oil, soy sauce and honey in a small bowl.
  2. Cut the fish into portions and remove all bones.
  3. Coat the fish piece with the olive oil, soy sauce and honey mixture. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Preheat the oven and send the fish to bake for five minutes at 250 degrees under the top grill.
