The long New Year vacation is just around the corner. This means that fans of outdoor activities should think about where to go skiing and snowboarding. The matter is a little complicated by the pandemic, because many countries are closed for Russians, and the chance that the borders will open in a little more than a month, is close to zero. But do not despair, because there are still many places in the world where you can go for impressions.

Resort, in which a lot of money and effort has been invested. Beautiful, well-appointed, cozy: here will appeal to fans of winter sports, and those who only want to try it or do not plan to do it at all.
The resort has various slopes, ski schools, restaurants and cafes for different budgets, hotels for every taste and excursion program. But, unfortunately, there are big queues to the elevators, so get ready to take a place in advance. In addition to skiing, you can go tubing down the slides, ride snowmobiles, take a ride on a zipline, have a photo shoot on the observation decks and relax in the mountain baths.

Sheregesh
Anna: The main advantage of the resort is a long season and soft and dry snow in large quantities, ideal for skiing. The infrastructure is simpler than in Polyana, but the Olympics were not held there either. Hotels here are not fancy, but there are slopes of all difficulty levels, various festivals and après-ski with Siberian hospitality. And, what is very important, the queues are much less. In Sheregesh you can have a steam bath, go to Yeti Park, have fun in night clubs and bars, go tubing, snowmobiling or sledding with three horses.
