New world records from vorkauters from Russia. And you thought you knew how to do push-ups?

Athletes Manvel Mamoyan and Aaron Virabyan set three new world records in push-ups this week. The workout coaches broke past achievements by pushing up with a backpack weighing over 28 kilograms, in a handstand and on four fingers. The record holders do not intend to stop there.

Manvel Mamoyan

Manvel Mamoyan, 26, set two world records at once. In one minute he did 69 push-ups with a backpack weighing about 28 kilograms:

And then he did 73 handstand push-ups in 3 minutes, increasing the previous record by 18 reps.

These are not Mamoyan’s first records. He’s already made three Guinness World Records. Before that, he set records in jump squats and handstand push-ups.
The athlete also intends to send confirmation of his new achievement to the Guinness Book. Mamoyan has several more records and the title of absolute record holder in his plans.

Aaron Virabyan

Athlete Aaron Virabyan did push-ups on four fingers and managed to do 77 repetitions in a minute.

Earlier Virabyan repeated Bruce Lee’s unique push-ups – on two fingers of one hand – and even surpassed the legend in the number of repetitions.
