On October 6, Sochi will host the largest obstacle race in Russia – the “Race of Heroes”. We would like to remind you that together with the League of Heroes, Rosa Khutor resort and Reebok company we held a contest where we raffled off a team slot for participation, equipment and free accommodation for the period of the race. Participants had to tell their story: why their team should take part in the race. Now it’s time to summarize the results.

So, we received more than 50 applications by mail. For several days we have been reading your touching and inspiring stories. Admittedly, it was very difficult to choose. But we pulled ourselves together and selected 26 of the most impressive letters. The random number generator helped us to determine the winner.

We have come to the most important thing. The counter showed the coveted number 18, and the winner was *drum roll* Andrey Viktorovich Govorov! We heartily congratulate the captain and his team “To Tear and Throw” with the triumph and wish them good luck during the race. We will meet you in Sochi!

“OCR racing fills our lives:

• OCR races are all about pure obstacle clearance for us. Each fighter of the #rush_and_metal team digs into the ground, ropes, docks, rocks and other elements of obstacles, gives 150% before going to cut the bracelet at the finish line!
• The girls of our team do not cry, the moisture from their beautiful eyes are not tears, but droplets of sweat… Which have no price on the whole Earth, because we see what efforts the girls make to achieve their sporting results!”
