How to make a wish for the New Year, to definitely come true: tips and tricks

A clear formulation of wishes with a visual scheme can work wonders. It is not about launching magic balloons into the air and burning papers before the chimes strike. Although, if you like traditional rituals, you can use them too.

Properly formulated dreams will be transformed into goals, and it will be easier for you to make them a reality. Work on them do not cancel.

Desires, like goals, like specifics, so they need to be clearly formulated. The more we structure our desire, the higher the chances that it will come true. Human thinking is substantive: when we talk about something vaguely, our brain gets lost.

We need to clearly visualize what exactly we want, feel it with all our senses. If the desire is to buy an apartment, you can go to the neighborhood where the purchase is planned, go to the entrances, walk down the stairs, feel the atmosphere of the house as much as possible.

Without a clear picture of the future, it is harder for us to move toward our goals. Vision is the key to high performance. We need to visualize in detail the picture of our future life and ourselves in this future.

However, there are so-called far-fetched desires. We want to own the latest smartphone, fly to the Maldives, have a dream wedding. Then it is worth understanding – whether these desires are not imposed by society, fashion and are really sincere.

Idealization has become a strong influence on decision-making. Often behind our material goals hides some kind of need. We want a new car because we need attention, we want lots of money to feel secure. Our basic needs, according to Maslow’s theory, need to be covered. But not necessarily with purchases or money. It is important to deal with the reasons. Then they will become the foundation and source of energy on the way to achievement.

New Year from the point of view of starting something new is an understandable event. Relying on their memories, achievements, a person most often mentions what year it was, so it is quite appropriate to plan and dream for the new coming year. It is important to do it correctly.

Having determined the main desires and goals, move on to concrete actions. Visualize, say it out loud. Below is the instruction.

1. Write out your desires by month

Take a blank sheet and write out each month at a distance of about 10 centimeters from each other, so that you can make comments. Next, categorize events that are already known ahead of time. For example, birthdays, important events, vacations, schooling, moving.

2. Categorize the dreams

The areas can be as follows:

  • material – any purchases from small to large, investments, gifts, jobs, training;
  • Health – anything that may be important for mental, somatic and aesthetic health. Psychotherapy, examinations, cosmetology, massage, sanatorium, SPA;
  • brightness of life – traveling, communication, relationships, development, hobbies, pastimes, leisure;
  • creativity – everything that you have not dared to do before, but would like to do. For example, go scuba diving, change profession, move, change image.

3. Add emotions to the plan

You can decorate the written desires with beautiful thematic pictures, photos, motivational phrases, quotes. Such actions will add to the mood.

4. Say your wishes out loud

You can arrange a New Year’s Eve meeting with girlfriends, friends, relatives and make a plan for your year in a pleasant company. Perhaps you will hear hints on the realization of what you have planned.

5. Save the plan

This way at the end of the year you can read and remember what you managed to realize, and what you still need to work on.
