Adidas launches

Adidas has prepared a large-scale project dedicated to the resumption of the season. There will even be a series with Messi and Salah!

At times it seemed that the time of sports will not come for a long time, and competitions will stand on pause. But we ourselves did not notice how, after almost three months of isolation, we are close to the resumption of the season. In soccer, the first penalties have not been realized (nothing, Krish!), basketball fans are closely following the events around the NBA, and fitness fans are waiting with bated breath for the opening of gyms.

On the wave of pleasant anticipation adidas company launched a large-scale project “Ready for Sport”, the slogan of which was clearly pronounced by musician Noize MC:

Together we have come up with new rules to be ready to return to the courts, fields and stadiums – to the big game. To shine, to surprise, to set new records, to inspire, to change the game and never stop.

What to expect from the “Ready for Sport” project?

The new adidas campaign is a kind of motivational charge that aims to unite sports fans and athletes themselves before the upcoming season. In Russia, the project started with the very video manifesto we have attached above. Against the backdrop of the bright victories of our champions, the inspiring and seemingly uncompromising words of a hip-hop artist were heard. But that’s not all.

“Ready for Sports” promises to be a big video project that the brand has been working on together with the Telegram channel Psycho Daily. Together they want to talk about how Moscow is gradually returning to running. And so that we know the news firsthand, leaders of the running community and journalists will appear on the screen.

The brand is launching a series about famous athletes and teams

For those who are far from marathons and any other distances, there is also good news. For almost two months – from June 11 to August 1 – Ready For Sport episodes and accompanying text articles will be released on a global online platform. Each episode focuses on a world-renowned athlete, team or association.

Lionel Messi was the first to tell the audience about his sporting path. The Argentine admitted: during his self-isolation, he realized that soccer is a gift, which must be able to accept and pass on to others. Without it, according to the forward, there is a sense of emptiness in life.

The opportunity to please others is the best gift for me.

Among the teams in the series debuted in the New Zealand rugby team All Blacks. But the most interesting is ahead: original stories will be told by Juventus, Real Madrid, Manchester United, Arsenal and Bayern Munich. And among the athletes we’ll hear from soccer player Mohamed Salah, golfer Xander Schauffele, skateboarder Tyshawn Jones, tennis player Garbiñe Muguruza, basketball player Donovan Mitchell and others.

After a long lull, all of this suggests that life is getting back on track. But there will be new challenges, victories, difficulties, discoveries and, of course, sports. And we are certainly ready for it.
