Crimea Swim 2017

When. May 20

Where? Sudak

Distance: swim from Novy Svet to Sudak

Crimea Swim participants are offered to choose one of two distances depending on their level of fitness: 1 nautical mile and 5km. The start of the 5 km swim will be located on the beach of Novy Svet village. Swimmers with a distance of 1 nautical mile will have to start from the shore near the Church of the 12 Apostles, then go around Krabi Island. All competitors will finish on the beach in Sudak, where the expo will be located.

Seliger Swim 2017

When. June 17

Where? Ostashkov

Distance: swim in Lake Seliger

Seliger is a system of lakes, which are connected by short channels with unpredictable currents. Athletes will have to show special orienteering skills on open water, because in the vast space deviating from the course can greatly lengthen the route.Participants are offered to choose one of four distances: 10km, 5km, 1850m and a 2x5km relay. The 10 km distance and the first leg of the relay will start from the beach near the Zhitenny Monastery (outskirts of Ostashkov). The end of the first stage of the relay on the island of Gorodomlya.

Volga Swim 2017

Where? Nizhny Novgorod

The Volga Swim promises to be the most massive swim in Russia: as of today there are already 1161 people on the list of registered participants. For athletes will be available distances of 1 km, 3 km and 5 km with a common finish in the historical center of the city.

Baikal Swim 2017

When. July 29.

Where? Listvyanka

Distance: swim in the deepest lake on the planet

At Baikal Swim athletes will have to swim across one of the widest and most powerful river headwaters in the world – the place where the Angara River originates.To cope with the powerful current of the river, swimmers will have to follow the trajectory very carefully.A separate event within Baikal Swim will be a swim for cold swimmers. They will have to swim without wetsuits in water with a temperature of about 12-16°C.

Arctic Swim 2017

When. August 12.

Where: Teriberka

The summer series of open water competitions will culminate in the northernmost and most extreme Arctic Swim in the waters of the Arctic Ocean. Participants will face an endurance challenge: swim across Teriberka Bay with water temperature of 6-7°C in two possible ways – 1/2 or 1 nautical mile.

Not only professionals but also amateurs can join the swim. The use of wetsuits is allowed.
