The concept fully conveys the essence of such training – during the class you need to jump, while performing various dance ligaments and strength elements. Not only large muscles are involved here, but also small muscles-catalysts. Due to the special design of special shoes, shock absorption is also included, which reduces the impact load on the joints. However, there can be limitations here – compression load on the spinal column is possible, so I would recommend people who are overweight to consult a doctor – if the muscle corset is not prepared, it will not support the spine sufficiently, which at high load can even be traumatic.

During the Kangoo Jumps workout, about 1000 kcal is burned per hour. Therefore, if your goal is to lose extra pounds or to lose weight, this is the right thing to do. There are practically no special restrictions – the exercise is suitable for almost everyone. However, in case of pathologies of the musculoskeletal system and other serious diseases, be sure to warn the trainer about it.

Personal experience

I went to Kangoo Jumps for about a month and I can say for sure: it’s mega cool and fun. But I didn’t see any super effect from the training. It’s understandable, because the workout involves more aerobic exercise. My muscles were sore, but not like from strength exercises – let’s just say that I felt a slight hint of work in some parts of my body: quadriceps, anterior thigh, calf and gluteal muscles. It was probably partly due to the fact that I was constantly shifting the weight to my toes – I don’t know why.
