A new project from top riders with a fresh perspective on backcountry snowboarding.
In the midst of winter, British Columbia’s boundless mountains give the world some of the best places to ride, and around every corner new amazing wilderness phenomena are revealed. Quiksilver is proud to present Depth Perception, the new brainchild of renowned rider Travis Rice, which features incredible riding from his teammates, Brian Fox, Austin Suitin and Team Roxy snowboarder Robyn Van Jean, in addition to the maestro himself.
The video can be seen on Quiksilver’s official YouTube channel.
Filmed in an amazing natural area that is considered the most remote rainforest in the world, Depth Perception goes back to the roots of snowboarding and shows the connections between nature and riders. This movie will transport you to a mysterious tale and showcase the best backcountry skiing to be found on planet Earth.
Quiksilver invites you to the Russian premiere of a new snowboard movie – Depth Perception. Travis Rice himself and all the main characters of the film will specially fly to Moscow and give the opening speech at the screening, which will take place on October 25 at the Dom Kino cinema.
In style, Depth Perception is reminiscent of Wes Anderson’s films and is unlike any other snowboarding project. It looks deep into the essence of snowboarding and is ahead of its time. We get to see what led Travis, Austin, Robin and Brian to who they are today and learn how the spacey nature of British Columbia came to be and has evolved over the centuries.
