Exposing fitness bloggers: first they buy degrees, then they teach us how to live our lives

Recently, it turned out that the famous blogger Elena Kornilova, who ran an account about treatment with the help of dietary supplements, advised subscribers really harmful to health drugs. In addition, the diploma of biochemist, with which the girl repeatedly confirmed her competence, turned out to be fake. Are all Instagrammers so good in reality? We tell you why else you can not trust fitness bloggers.

Apparently, the girl received a percentage of orders from follower orders on a well-known website. Each recommendation was accompanied by a personal promo code for a discount.

The harm of any, even the most harmless pills, in such quantities is obvious. But, watching a beautiful picture in social networks, many people who have lost hope of getting rid of the problem, obediently fulfill all the points from the publication.

Every day in the Network there is a large number of weight loss marathons and advertisements of powders for slimness. Gullible young ladies dreaming of losing weight by summer, and young people aspiring to look like Arnold Schwarzenegger, are ready to pay any money for a magic kick and herbs. Unfortunately, the results that are portrayed in the photo, in reality, are often far from ideal.

Famous blogger Elena Sanzharovskaya does not neglect photo editors either. We do not argue, in her 52 years of fitness-lady looks just great. However, the difference in some photos is not difficult to notice. What is it – the power of foreshortening or a noble photoshop? Judge for yourself.

But it’s not terrible to edit your body, it’s much worse to take money from others and promise them the same.

This is what nutritionist Svetlana Shidlovskaya does, judging by the comments that are instantly cleaned in her profile. After participating in a weight loss marathon, the girl lost 30 kilograms and decided to help everyone to lose weight. This is how marathons with identical individualized fitness plans and tips copied from popular sites appeared.

Some bloggers, on the contrary, boldly share the results of training without filters, secret angles and openly say that everyone has flaws.

“Just regular selfies where I’m not posing. Sometimes I wonder how useful Instagram and other social media is to the world. And then I think of you girls. It’s a place where we can all share our struggles and our triumphs and know that we’re not alone, and also meet friends we would never have, and that’s why I love insta. But I’d be lying if I said I never catch myself getting overwhelmed by the feeling that insta is an endless pit of comparisons. As disturbing as it is for me to compare myself, it’s just as disturbing for me to think that others are comparing themselves to me…”

We support this stance because striving for the perfect body is certainly necessary. But this does not mean that, inspired by a fake picture in Instagram, you should exhaust yourself with hunger and endless training. Everything should be in moderation and in favor of health.

The main thing is not to forget that everything should be treated critically. Even to the most popular bloggers, whose bodies are idolized by millions. After all, to do something for yourself does not mean that you can teach it to others. And is it worth teaching, maybe it’s enough just to inspire and motivate?
