How to make the most of your 24 hours in a day

Anyone can significantly improve their personal efficiency and achieve outstanding results in their work if they don’t rush through life at full speed and stop grasping for more and more new tasks.

The modern culture of perpetual hurry and multitasking is absolutely counterproductive. People experience enormous stress and overload from such a rhythm of life and do not achieve serious results.

Have you seen what British entrepreneur Richard Branson looks like? He is always relaxed, calm and cheerful, there is no hurry and fuss in his life. He takes few actions but gets stunning results in business. This is exactly what super productive people do, and we should learn from them.

We’ve gathered five simple lifehacks that will help you boost your productivity and get more free time for family, travel and hobbies. Incorporate them into your life and you’ll be able to reach your goals much faster and more efficiently.

Give up multitasking

A lot of modern research proves that we can’t effectively do multiple things at the same time without losing quality. Even a professional race car driver can’t run a track he knows while talking on his phone as fast as he can without his phone.

People who were distracted by notifications on their phone while working had a 15% drop in their IQ test. In general, if you do a lot of things at once, you can “shit yourself”. Therefore, try to limit the number of key tasks for the day, they should not be more than three. Do not do anything in parallel, go to a new case only after you have finished the old one.

Focus on what is important

Do the most important things first, don’t do the rest at all. Identify the tasks that will move you the most toward your goals and find the easiest way to accomplish them. Delegate or ignore anything that is not a result-oriented action.

Any type of physical activity will do: running, swimming, yoga, dancing, etc. It doesn’t matter what you do, the main thing is to get your body moving and you’ll feel the effects immediately.

Develop yourself

Reading books, studying courses, taking trainings – all of this has an extremely positive effect on your efficiency.

Develop the habit of regularly training your brain – and you will become one of the most productive people in your environment. These simple rules can dramatically change your life. The main thing is not just to read them, but to implement them. Do an experiment, try following these principles for just two weeks and you’ll see your life change. Check it out.
