Q&A: 6 ways to recover your voice quickly
What to do if you snapped your voice – tips for quick recovery
Every day there are matches – you support your favorite national teams, communicate with fans on the streets of the city, sing songs in the stands of stadiums. But then your voice sits down, and a loud “Ole-ole!” turns into a pathetic whisper, which you can barely hear yourself. How to quickly get back on track and support the players again? “Championship” shares lifehacks that will help to quickly return the voice.
Give your vocal cords a rest
Try to switch to gestures, if you need to say something, speak in a half-whisper, because whispering further irritates the dried ligaments.
Drink more fluids.
You need to restore the throat mucosa. Leave cold lemonades and hot coffee for a while, giving preference to warm tea or milk with honey, broth.
Humidify the air indoors
Ligaments are already dry, so being in a stuffy room for a long time will not do them any good. Put containers of water around the perimeter of the room, so that the water, evaporating, humidifies the air. Or buy an inexpensive humidifier – it will still come in handy in winter, when the air in the room will be dried out by central heating.
Cut out smoking, caffeine and avoid smoky rooms
All of these dehydrate the body and dry out the larynx. If you want to regain your voice as soon as possible and not to become hoarse again, you will have to sacrifice your habits.
Gargle your throat
You can choose at your discretion: just warm water or with a small addition of salt, herbal infusions of chamomile, calendula or thyme. Means available, the effect has been tested even by our grandmothers.
Use folk recipes
