While the new iPhone was able to surprise users only with camera capabilities, GoPro has stuffed the model with streaming modes, timelapse and built-in stabilizer – and it’s a real breakthrough! We have already tested all the features of the novelty, and, frankly speaking, they are amazing. We share with you the brightest features and our impressions.

What’s new?

• The main feature of the new flagship model GoPro HERO 7 Black is HyperSmooth. A trick for those who are constantly on the move. It’s super smooth stabilization that makes videos look almost professional quality. It’s said to be the best built-in video image stabilization in the history of cameras. You can forget about steadicams.

• In addition, manufacturers have added TimeWarp mode – accelerated timelapse with stabilization. Such videos can be repeatedly accelerated and get the effect “like flying on an airplane carpet”. Content in your Instagram will become even cooler.

• LifeStreaming is now available. The broadcast feature will work across Facebook, YouTube, Vimeo, and Twitch. We’re really hoping to add broadcasting to Instagram, but no comments about this option yet.
• The new Super Photo feature can recognize scenes to create high-quality photos, automatically applies HDR, and Portrait Mode can take vertical shots for sharing to Stories.
• Naturally, the sound has gotten better too. The microphone has a new diaphragm that reduces unwanted vibrations when shooting from a mount.

There’s a choice: the differences between the Silver and White models

GoPro offers more than one camera this time around. You can choose a HERO to suit your taste: HERO 7 Silver and HERO 7 White complete the lineup. These models are simpler, so they are suitable even for beginners.

• GoPro Hero 7 Silver can also shoot 4K video, but at 30 frames per second. It adds a display, GPS module, recording short looped videos up to 30 seconds, timer shooting and voice control.
• GoPro Hero 7 White model will be able to record video in 1440p at 60 frames per second. The novelty will be equipped with a screen on the back, voice control and dual-axis image stabilization.

Price

HERO 7 Black for 34990p, HERO 7 Silver for 26990p, and HERO 7 White for 17990p are already available for pre-order on retailers’ websites. The cameras will start selling in stores worldwide on September 27. In Russia, the start of sales is scheduled for October 5.
