Often skin problems arise due to improper nutrition. Consumption of certain products directly affects the condition of the skin. What should be reduced in the diet, and what is better to refuse, we have analyzed together with nutriciologist Anna Berseneva.

Sugar

White refined sugar is considered one of the most destructive products for the skin. It disrupts the synthesis of collagen. And the health and youthfulness of the skin is largely related to it. The more collagen is produced, the younger, firmer and more beautiful the skin looks.

In addition, sugar creates an acidic environment in the body. Externally, this manifests itself as follows: rashes, acne, dryness and flaking form on the skin.

Wheat flour

White wheat flour contains gluten. Gluten intolerance is a disease, but not everyone has it. Gluten contained in such flour is the most “aggressive”. It can interfere with intestinal activity. And a healthy gastrointestinal tract – the key to a clean and beautiful skin.

White bread

This is a derivative product from wheat flour, respectively, it falls under the category of harmful to the skin. It promotes oxidation of the environment in the body and causes fermentation.

All together this has an extremely negative effect on the skin. Rashes appear on it, there is a feeling of dryness or, on the contrary, too much sebum is produced.

Canned foods

Canned foods contain a large amount of sugar, dyes, flavor enhancers and, in fact, preservatives. Therefore, when buying peas, corn, beans and other products in cans, you should carefully study the composition.

Sweet carbonated drinks

In carbonated drinks, “bubbles” and sugar are combined. Together, such a mixture gives an additional load on the pancreas and the GI tract as a whole. This, in turn, negatively affects the condition of the skin.

Salt

Salt disrupts blood circulation, retains fluid in the body, forms puffiness. Dark circles around the eyes are formed not only because of lack of sleep, but also because the blood in the capillaries stagnates – so there are bruises.

Alcohol

Any alcoholic beverages can provoke dehydration of the skin. And because of this, wrinkles, irritation, dryness, peeling and tightness appear.
