Race by “Championship” and World Class

On June 2 on Poklonnaya Hill will be held a half-marathon “In One Breath”, organized by the network of fitness clubs World Class and sports portal “Championship”. You can take part in the distances of 21 or 10 km. There will also be a special children’s race at 500 meters. The races will be held within the framework of the XVIII World Class Games named after Dmitry Zhirnov, timed to the 25th anniversary of the club. There is 1 day left till the end of registration.

Run in support of the Russian national soccer team

On June 11, three days before the start of the grandiose sports festival, the World Football Championship, a large-scale run in support of the Russian national soccer team, organized by Run World Run and the Russian Football Union, will take place in Moscow. The five-thousandth race will be held on the bank of the Stroginskaya floodplain. The distance can be chosen: 3, 11 or 21.1 km for adults and 1 km for children up to 13 years old inclusive.

The event will be attended by many athletes, including soccer player Roman Shirokov, as well as media personalities. In addition to the race itself, the participants will enjoy an entertainment program and voluminous start packages.

Sports exhibitions

If you love sports and culture, you have an opportunity to combine these two aspects. The agency “TourStat” has compiled a list of interesting sports exhibitions that will be organized in the near future in Moscow, St. Petersburg and Nizhny Novgorod, Samara and other cities-organizers of the World Cup 2018, as well as in Krasnodar.

Among the cultural events there is, for example, an exhibition on the history of domestic soccer at VDNKh, “Sport in Soviet porcelain, graphics, sculpture”.

Painting Trail in “Nikola-Lenivets”

On June 16 and 17, one of the biggest trail runs of the season – Sport-Marafon Trail – will take place in the art park “Nikola-Lenivets” in the Kaluga region. Adult participants will be able to compete on distances of 10, 35, 55 and 110 km, and for children there will be a 500-meter test. The fully cross-country format will allow both experienced trailrunners and those who started to get acquainted with the world of cross-country running not so long ago to take part.

Sberbank Private Banking to hold a golf tournament

On June 3, the second annual Sberbank Private Banking Golf Cup 2018 golf tournament will be held at the Moscow City Golf Club.

Golfers who have received an invitation from Sberbank Private Banking will take part in the tournament.
The competition will be held in a doubles scramble format with a handicap of 28.0 for men and 36.0 for women. Participants will start simultaneously from 9 holes. Golf carts and caddies are allowed.
