“Green Street Hooligans,” 2005.

The movie that became a cult movie. A promising journalist was expelled from Harvard University because of a false denunciation by his classmate. After that he comes to London, where he gets acquainted with the leader of the fan group “West Ham”, who is a friend of his family. And this changes the life of the hero, played by Elijah Wood, forever. He joins the soccer crowd and gets everything from it that it can give: victories, defeats, friends and, of course, violent clashes with rival fans. The movie is a must-see.

“Ultra,” 1991.

A movie about a Roma fan nicknamed Prince, who is released from prison after a sentence for hooliganism. The changes that have taken place during his time in prison do not please him. Fans are harassed, his friend is no longer an active fan, has become a lawyer, and is also dating Prince’s ex-girlfriend. And all this against the background of the fact that in a couple of days “Roma” will have a match in Turin against Juventus. The protagonist, of course, goes there. A very atmospheric picture, which is even more valuable because during filming the creators talked to a huge number of real tiffosi.

Winged Pigs, 2010

A Polish film that won the Golden Lion award. The film is about a small soccer club from a Polish town. Fans of the team try to defend the club. The movie tells about what soccer fanaticism leads to. A good picture, which can be recommended to all soccer fans.

Soccer Factory, 2004

Another classic of fan movies. This is a sweeping study of English fanaticism. The plot is about four Chelsea fans who go to battle with Milwall fans. Against this backdrop is a story about fanaticism in England.

Credentials, 1995

Four police officers are infiltrated into a group of fans of a second division club, Shadewell, called the Dogs, in order to track down the ringleader and the main activists. As the investigation progresses, the cops are forced to attend the team’s home games and spend a lot of time with the true fans. Gradually, the cops realize that they begin to like soccer. Their lives change 180 degrees. The police become their villains and the suspects become their best friends.

Soccer Gladiators, 2009

The movie is about a group of young guys who can’t find a place in life. From this they are saved by drugs and fanaticism. The main character – 19-year-old Paul Country tries to get into the community of Tranmere Rovers fans. The main events in the picture will be the relationship between Paul and the leader of the group, who does not like the hero. Country will have to try to survive.

The Firm, 2009

A picture about fanaticism in England in the 80s. The main character is a guy named Dominic. He really wants to earn authority and recognition among the ultras. But, once inside, the hero realizes how wrong he was. However, he has no way back.
