What dinner should be

Protein. Without it can not do without any of the main meals. For dinner it is desirable to choose fish or poultry, and beef, lamb and pork are good for lunch.

Vegetables. Fiber in the diet is extremely important, because it contributes to prolonged satiety and cleansing of the body. It can be a salad of fresh vegetables and stewed vegetables. Many people’s favorite fried potatoes or mashed potatoes for dinner will not work. Favor white cabbage, broccoli, cucumbers or zucchini.

Fats. For example, salad dressing or cooking oil. Choose good quality and healthy fats – it’s the key to good health.

Carbohydrates. Pasta or cereal is not for everyone. If you are in the process of losing weight, you do not need them for dinner, it is better to increase the portion of vegetables and protein. If your weight is fine, then you can safely eat 1/4 of a plate of carbohydrates, where another 1/4 portion will be proteins and 1/2 – vegetables.

Dinner meal options

  1. Vegetable ratatouille and steamed chicken cutlets.
  2. Baked fish with vegetables and a side dish of boiled rice, ideally brown rice.
  3. Zucchini stuffed with chicken fillet with cheese cap and garnish to your taste.
  4. Buckwheat with chicken chops and white cabbage salad with carrots and bell peppers.
  5. Rolls of chicken thigh fillet in bacon with bulgur and salad of juicy tomatoes with cilantro and basil.
  6. Lasagna and vegetable salad to your liking.
  7. Pollock fillet cutlets with rice and salad.

In general, it is not difficult to put together a dinner from the above examples – the main thing is to know the preferences of the family and choose fresh products for cooking, as well as to use safe cooking methods, excluding frying and deep-frying if possible.

Of course, don’t forget about beverages. Each family member should have a glass of water. After dinner, you can have a cup of tea with nuts and dried fruits. From pies, candy and cookies for dinner is better to refuse, so that the tradition of tea drinking then did not reflect a plus on the scales.

Do not forget that dinner should be no later than three to four hours before going to bed. Regular late dinner can provoke a lack of appetite in the morning and lead to evening overeating. This is important not only for your figure, but also for your health in general!
