5 simple ways to get the most out of each day

We all want to use our time resources to the maximum: to be successful in our careers, to have enough time to spend on ourselves and our loved ones, to develop, to have time to see the beautiful things. But sometimes it seems that the hours in a day just can not be enough for all the needs.

Together with an expert we have gathered simple coaching tools that will help you to get in tune with the new wave.

Planning for the week. Very often we make big plans and expectations that we want to realize in just a day. To start from Monday to do sports, to eat right, to stop swearing and so on. But if this does not happen during the day, it is easy to slip into frustration and devaluation of ourselves. How can you avoid this?

Plan your week. It will help to have time in reserve so you don’t fall into despair if you haven’t started eating broccoli and leaf lettuce since Monday. You have six more days ahead of you. That means you won’t lose motivation.

The 60/40 schedule. Where 60% of the time is our routine, such as meetings, commitments, work issues, and things that strengthen us. 40% is improvisation. For example, suddenly a friend/friend invites you out for a walk. Or a partner calls for dinner at a new restaurant. Leave time to walk your inner child and fill your life with colors of joy and positivity.

Mark with a green marker if the day went great, orange if there was mild anxiety, and red if you were upset. This kind of daily reflection is very helpful in building self-esteem and anchoring the day’s events. At the end of the month, you can read and analyze how you lived that month.

Morning Rituals. Reschedule the things you love to do in the first hour after waking up. A yoga class, a warm bubble bath, watching your favorite series or reading a book. Starting a new day not with fuss, but with pleasant activities helps to increase the joy hormone – dopamine. In this way you energize yourself in advance with a positive cocktail of emotions.

Gratitude. You can write in a notebook, or you can just take a minute to think about the people you were grateful to during that day. When you start this practice regularly, you will notice how many people around you care about you. It helps you feel calm and confident. All of these steps take only 30 minutes during the day, but will give you the most positive results in as little as a week.
