Bucket List is a list of things you need to do while you are alive. It’s closer to a wish list than a list of goals. And these are not ordinary wishes, but those whose realization will make you better and happier.

In other words, it is a list of things you want to see, learn, try, do and feel during your life. Bucket List helps to give life a certain direction and set a benchmark. And having such a list helps to formulate life goals correctly and to live exactly your life.

Excellent about the principle of Bucket List is told in the movies “Reach for Heaven” (1997), “My Life Without Me” (2003), “Till I Play the Box” (2007) (the original title of the movie is The Bucket List), “30 Crazy Wishes” (2018) and “Life in a Year” (2020).

But here the filmmakers show mostly tragic stories: more often the heroes learn about their incurable disease, so they decide to fulfill their most cherished and in some ways crazy wishes before dying. We are talking about the Bucket List of a healthy person.

To make the list work and be a tool that helps you, include in it the wishes that can be realized.

Follow your dreams

It’s best not to include anything too down-to-earth, like “buy a new TV.” The Bucket List is meant to inspire, so it should consist of desires that will really improve your life. It shouldn’t be confused with a year/month to-do list or a wish list of birthday presents.

Also, this understanding will help you lower the degree of importance of this ritual. Realize that making a list is not like signing a contract with blood – it’s much simpler and more interesting. It’s all purely for your benefit and your happiness.

Publish your Bucket List

Share it on social media, your blog, or just read it out with your close friends and family. This is very important:

  • First, it will help you make a stronger agreement and take responsibility for your desires. This way you’re more likely not to slip up on the subject, because you’ll have witnesses;
  • second, you’ll have a support group that can help you fulfill your wishes;
  • Third, it will give people in your inner circle a chance to learn more about you and, to a certain extent, help improve your relationship with them.

Making a Bucket List is a valuable and effective tool for learning about yourself, which can make life more fulfilling and give it a bit of magic. After all, when you start to fulfill your desires in life, you will feel that this world is favorable to you and that you are the creators of your own happiness.
