Medvedeva vs. Zagitova: how figure skaters attract the attention of subscribers in isolation

States around the world have resorted to serious quarantine measures due to the rapid spread of coronavirus infection. Titled figure skaters Evgenia Medvedeva en Alina Zagitova have also been placed under a kind of house arrest. In 2018, the figure skater left Eteri Tutberidze’s group and moved to Canada to train under Brian Orser. Now Evgenia continues to live in Toronto. She recently returned from the United States and self-isolated for two weeks. The athlete left home only in case of emergency and wore a medical mask and latex gloves to go to the supermarket.

Medvedeva did not abandon training and shared with subscribers music videos. On them the girl worked out her arm muscles with dumbbells, squatted with a barbell pancake and pumped her abs by throwing her legs on a fitness ball. The classes were accompanied by compositions by Billy Ailish, Christian Kostov and Pharrell Williams.

To develop leg strength, the skater performed Bulgarian lunges with support on a chair and worked out with a fitness rubber band.

Apparently, after a while, the boring days in quarantine made themselves felt, and Medvedeva began to rock out on TikTok. First, she showed the audience how to sit on a twine in a unicorn costume to the UNO song by the band Little Big.

Then Eugenia lay on the floor, locked her hands behind her back and in this position tried to turn over and stand on her feet. From the outside, the exercise looks quite strange.

Most of all subscribers were both pleased and surprised by the energetic dance to the famous song “Faina” by the collective “NA-NA”. True, some fans called the figure skater’s movements, accompanied by special effects, psychedelic. Indeed, it was hard to expect such a performance from the delicate and fragile Evgeniya. Quarantine does not push us to what endeavors only!

In addition, the figure skater had time to joke about her mother, who in isolation got carried away with the game on her cell phone and, apparently, overcame more than a dozen levels in the application. In this video in TikTok Medvedeva tried on a funny mask, which greatly increases the lower part of the face.

It became known that the quarantine in Canada for Evgenia is over. Since the Prism on Ice show is to be held in Japan in June, the figure skater and her team decided to fly to another continent in advance. The girl assured her fans that she is fine.
