For the first time, amateurs will have a chance to participate in the Olympics on a par with titled athletes.

After a long debate about which city would host the 2024 Summer Olympics, Paris has finally won. The authorities have been pushing for this for a hundred years and now it seems they are ready to surprise. We tell you what, quite possibly, will be waiting for us at the Olympics in 5 years.

The other day, the organizing committee of the competition tweeted that for the first time in the history of the Games, Paris 2024 will conduct an experiment for fans and give everyone the opportunity to participate in a public event like the marathon on the same day and under the same conditions as the Olympians.

Different distance formats will be available for runners so that regardless of age, physical condition or fitness level, everyone can have a unique Olympic experience.

Dance

Another major change is that breakdancing may be included in the Games program. It is said that the organizing committee of the Olympics-2024 is already negotiating with the World Dance Sport Federation. The decision will be made by vote. It will be held at the session of the International Olympic Committee at the end of June.

In addition to breakdancing, the program may include rock climbing, surfing and skateboarding. The head of the organizing committee Tony Estange emphasizes that these sports will make the games more urban and artistic.

Sharing the victory

Celebrity designer Philippe Starck has already created a medal design for the Olympics. In his version, the medal will be able to split into four so that the winners can share the joy with their loved ones.

The choice of this concept has not been officially confirmed yet, but we hope the committee will settle on it. We think it is incredibly touching.
