Cardboard copies of Dzyuba

While one rides in the front seat of his car, the other goes to lectures at a Moscow university.

When last fall Olga Buzova’s fans took away her cardboard figures from “Pyatyorochka” en masse, no one knew that a similar story would catch up with Artyom Dzyuba. A year later, soccer fans joined the unusual flash mob. We tell you what fans did that caused such a heated discussion in the network.

Dzyuba at a lecture at GUU

The incident with the cardboard statue of Dzyuba happened on October 15 at a lecture on mathematics. On that day, one of the guys brought the figure of the footballer to the class and put it on the back of the desks. According to the student, the teacher did not immediately recognize the famous player and asked him to take a seat on the first desk and tell his last name. However, after repeatedly referring to the cardboard copy, there was still no response (you bet!). The teacher even had to involve the head teacher to find out from which group this careless student was.

The guys themselves explained that they did not intend to mock the lecturer: they put the figure on the back of the desks so that it would not interfere with the class, not even thinking that it could be confused with a living person. Dzyuba posted this story on his Instagram, but later deleted the photo.

According to the students, they got the cardboard statue completely legally. They got the figure of the soccer player thanks to their work as volunteers at the games of the Russian national team. They asked the organizers to give them the prop after one of the matches, and they easily allowed it.

A gift from Zenit fans

Zenit fans also gave the team’s forward his cardboard variation, but it was a real bust. It was presented after an open training session of the St. Petersburg club at the base in Udelny Park.

Dzyuba immediately liked the gift, the striker even allocated him a place on the front seat of his car, which was shared on Twitter account of FC Zenit.

Later in his Instagram, Artyom Dzyuba posted a picture of himself with the bust, thanking the fans for the surprise: “Thank you so much for this unexpectedly nice gift!”.

However, not only the three-dimensional figure attracted the attention of subscribers. The head coach of Dutch Vitesse Leonid Slutsky noted in the comments, writing: “The case when the copy is much better than the original.”
“Oh, who do we have there?))))))) There wouldn’t be enough cardboard for yours,” Dzyuba joked in response.
The coach did not stop and said, “Too predictable.”
Dzyuba in turn did not react to Leonid’s last comment, but commented on the message of a user who offered to make the same copy of Slutsky. The footballer wrote: “It will take years”.

Recall that in the current championship of Russia, the striker played 14 matches in the Blue and White Blues, scored nine goals and made eight assists. Not to mention his success in the national team. The fans clearly have a lot to love about him.
