Avocado is an ancient fruit native to Mexico, similar to a nut, with a dense green to dark purple skin and a large seed inside. The oil from it has an original pleasant aroma and quite pleasant taste with nutty notes. It is obtained by cold pressing. Avocado oil is also found as a food additive, usually in the form of gelatin capsules for ingestion.
