Hotties you won’t find in the gym: women’s gymnastics in detail

Special vorkout training for girls started not so long ago. Trainer Daria Besfamilnaya told us what is important for beginners to take into account, and also shared her opinion on how training for girls and guys differs fundamentally.

– Daria, what do you think is the main difference between women’s vorkout and men’s?
– Perhaps the main task of men during training is to perform elements on the bars. Girls do the same, but we have other tasks: fat-burning exercises, functional endurance exercises and muscle strengthening.

– Who can you recommend these workouts to? Who might enjoy them?
– Our workouts are universal and will suit absolutely everyone. Compared to the gym or group fitness training, some people may not enjoy working with heavy weights. But strength training is good for the circulatory system and generally good for health, so there are more pros than cons.

Danila Cherkasov, president of the Moscow Vorkout Federation, ambassador of the project dedicated to street athletics, #Datsunpiknik: “In principle, women’s and men’s Vorkout do not differ much. Except for the fact that guys have more elements in their arsenal and they progress faster”.

– How varied is the training process itself?
– You can make different programs. For example, we have group programs three days a week. It’s important to us that each workout is different from any other. On one day we work on muscles, on another day we actively burn fat, on the third day, for example, we emphasize arm muscles. Of course, if someone wants to run, you can add this element to your workouts as well. At the very beginning we have some degree of running, it is necessary in order to warm up.

– Where do you train in winter and fall?
– There are certain difficulties in this period. The main goal of vorkout is accessibility, and in winter it is difficult to find a free and convenient indoor ground. It is hard to agree with sports clubs about season tickets, so in winter we take a break, everyone goes to gyms or works out at home. The active period of street training lasts from April to October.

– What additional tools are used during training? Many people now train with TRX.
– Yes, you can use rubber bands of different stiffness or work with TRX loops, i.e. perform exercises using your own weight. You can do as we did – fill boxes with different tools, such as kettlebells, dumbbells, barbells.

Purely theoretically, we can even combine individual strength training and group classes, which usually take place in the hall, on the open area. The area allows.

– Do girls and guys work out together?
– We all warm up together. Then we divide into groups – boys and girls. Because men are not always interested in doing what girls do. Accordingly, it is hard for girls to do what the boys do, who are engaged in tourniquets, handstands, pull-ups.

The trainings that we hold on this site are held near the Vorobyovy Gory metro station. The schedule is Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 19:30.

– Do the guys stick to a diet?
– Yes, of course. Everyone has a desire for good physical shape. It’s not just exercising for health. It’s doing sports to get fit, to be athletic, so nutrition is a must here. We have our own chats in social networks, in which we actively accept questions from everyone and try to answer to the best of our competence.

– What can I eat before training?
– First of all, you need to optimally weigh your strength. Here you need to understand what goals you set for yourself. If a person has set the goal of fat burning, then accordingly, an hour before and after training, we do not eat. As for the rest, you need to calculate your strength. Realize that during the first workout you need to do everything in a measured and careful manner. And an hour before the workout, load the body with carbohydrates.

1. The first mistake is that they don’t warm up enough. Warm-up is an important and mandatory element.

2. The second mistake is that they immediately try to repeat some forbidden tricks they saw on the video.

3. third – lack of awareness. It is necessary to learn more information about how to do this or that element, trick and in general to practice.
