2000 vs 2019: Jennifer Lopez proves she’s in great shape again

The other day in Milan, the finale of the Versace Spring-Summer 2020 fashion show took place, which shocked everyone present. The American actress and singer, who turned 50 last summer, repeated the legendary image from 2000. 19 years ago at the Grammy ceremony the artist stepped on the red carpet in a light dress with a Jungle print and a deep neckline up to the stomach. At that time this gesture did not look unusual, but now the audience standing and applauding met J. Lo in an almost identical outfit. What is the matter? Yes in the fact that the figure of the American star seems to be getting better over the years and reflects the hard work on herself.

This show is not the first reason to marvel at the good shape of 50-year-old Lopez in September. Last week was the premiere of the movie “Strippers”, where J. Lo acted as a director and… a pylon dancer. To adequately play this role, the actress had to fully work on the specific technique of dance and, of course, over her body. With both tasks Jennifer coped so well that it remains only to wonder: how does she manage to pump her body competently and effectively at such an age?

Diverse training in the gym

The artist has been working out for several years under the guidance of two qualified trainers: Tracy Anderson and David Kirsch, the mentor of Margot Robbie and Kate Upton. The strategies of the mentors vary greatly, there are definitely no unused muscle groups left for J.Lo. Training plan actress does not break not only in the States, but also while on vacation outside of them.

With Tracy Anderson Jennifer is engaged in Los Angeles, attending her training from 3 to 5 times a week, in addition trying to devote time to choreography. Anderson prefers to work with her mentee according to her own method. It includes constantly changing exercises with light weights with a large number of repetitions in one set (about 60-100). In the program designed for J.Lo, the emphasis is on hips, legs and bark muscles.

Upon arriving in New York, Jennifer is met by her second mentor, David Kirsch. The celebrity trainer is famous for his ability to build exercises for perfect abs. But the singer’s workouts are far more varied. Kirsch gives Lopez elements from crossfit with the use of weights and other weights and exercises with her own weight. Arranges plyometric (jumping) training and circular with elements of martial arts.

The result of constant physical exertion in Jennifer Lopez has become a taut and really relief body. It looks spectacular not only in photos, where retouching plays an important role, or at a fashion show with a tailored dress, but also in everyday life. For example, a couple of days ago, the paparazzi managed to make shots, which shows how the actress with her fiancé Alex Rodriguez, by the way, a professional baseball player, comes out of the fitness center after a yoga class.

Of course, Jennifer’s excellent appearance depends on skin care procedures and cosmetology. For example, the actress constantly applies sunscreen and moisturizer, without which, in her opinion, the skin will begin to deteriorate, especially with age.

However, J. Lo’s excellent shape is mostly a huge work on herself. Only with time Lopez was able to love her body and stop thinking about its shortcomings. She advises the same to everyone else.
