5 sports novelties that came out while we were on vacation

The New Year vacations are a great occasion for brands to present new collections and announce fresh premieres. January saw a huge number of sports novelties, but we’ve chosen five of the brightest.

Prada and adidas capsule collection

The Re-Nylon collection of clothing and accessories consists of recovered nylon, which is obtained through the process of recycling and purification of plastic collected in the ocean, fishing nets, textile fibers and other waste.

The line features tracksuits, jackets, t-shirts, tops, panamas and bags. The black and white pieces are adorned with Prada’s signature triangular logo and the classic adidas three stripes.

In addition to the new line of apparel, the brands updated the silhouette of the traditional Forum with leather and nylon uppers. On the sneakers we see removable pouches for small things, which have already become a Prada signature.

The model is available in two classic colors – Triple Black and Triple White. It will be available in the coming weeks.

Louis Vuitton 1.1 Millionaires sunglasses in a sporty version

This sporty accessory is decorated with the brand’s iconic loops and engraved monogram lines along the surface.

The neon-bright hue makes them a statement accessory, while the logo-embellished ribbon at the temple tips adds practicality.

KAWS x The North Face collection

The brands created a special line to blur the lines between functionality and style in the mountains and beyond. This collection is an attempt to express technological innovation in the form of modern art.

The collection includes traditional The North Face jackets, freeride fleece jackets, tracksuits, down pants, balaclavas, t-shirts, hats and bags. Each comes in abstract camouflage with brightly contrasting inserts featuring the artist’s instantly recognizable “XX” motif.

The collection was a great addition to the artist’s new art project at China’s Changbai Mountain.

Li-Ning and ACU and their first skateboarding sneakers

The Chinese brand has been on a rapid upward trajectory in the past year, and already today we are seeing the results of the work done: the company has a skateboarding division, as well as the first model for this subculture.

The new silhouette is a first for Li-Ning and a debut collaboration – with the ACU brand. The inspiration for this model came from Chinese medicine. The sneakers are made of a parchment-like material that naturally tears off when worn, revealing the Li-Ning logo. Completing the look are green touches, a rubber outsole and thick rope laces.

Two variants from the new Foggy Forest line are perfectly color-matched to the gray winter time. The designers took inspiration from the misty hues of the winter forest, resulting in a medium bark-like brown and a deep mystical green.

The model is traditionally equipped with a carbon-reinforced resin case, three years of battery life, water resistance to a depth of 200 meters and scratch protection.
