In 2022, the shows of leading designers surprised us with a variety of feminine, daring and unusual trends. The return of familiar images, new trends and a fresh look at familiar things – it can be difficult to make sense of it all. But we will try to put it all in one place.

Colors

Designers suggest that in 2023 again wear the favorite shade of “butter”. Pale yellow makes the image light and delicate, and is perfectly combined with white, taupe and denim. Sunny shades appeared in the shows of many fashion houses.

Fire red deserves special attention. It is more often than others met in collections and fits well into a variety of styles. Both single items and images completely made in scarlet colors are relevant.

The Pantone Institute recognized crimson shade Viva Magenta as the color of the year . It is close to red, but has notes of soft pink and violet. It looks bold and adds so much energy to the outfit that you can’t take your eyes off it. Coats, leather skirts and dresses of this shade look stylish. If you are not used to bright and bold solutions, add at least one purple element, for example, a textured hat or bag, and you will definitely not remain indifferent to this color.

Another trend is muted green. Grassy tones give the image of freshness, warmth and easily stand out among neutral shades. Soft blue and lavender are also not left aside. Pink looks modern in its different manifestations, from delicate to saturated with violet undertones.

The new season promises us the return of snake print, which appeared in almost all shows. Jackets, skirts, dresses of this coloring give every fashionista an opportunity to try herself in an unusual image.

Fabrics

Among the materials, denim became the leader. It can be worn in total-looks and individual elements of clothing – tops, jackets and even raincoats. On the catwalks we see images of aged denim, but with such things you need to be careful. If you are not sure of your skills in combining things, it is better to give preference to the classic version of this fabric or a slightly boiled version of it.

Leather outfits also remain relevant. Tops and jackets in various combinations will not be a revelation for many. Among the novelties it is worth looking at leather dresses of interesting styles: on one shoulder, fitted or straight, with a print or a combination of two colors of this material.

Elements of airy fabrics – tops, skirts, dresses – became the peak of fashion. If a translucent total-bow is too bold for you, you can limit yourself to inserts of mesh, chiffon or organza.

Soft and cozy textures continue to please with their variety. Plush, corduroy and velvet do not give up their positions and appear in both evening and everyday looks. The same can be said about fringe. It is actively used in scarves, dresses, skirts and even bags. When moving, such trim adds dynamism and grace to the image.

Lace went out of fashion for a while, but in 2023 returns in a new guise. Crochet or crochet openwork fabric can be part of the decoration of the dress, and for the most daring designers offer tops, cardigans and dresses made entirely of this material.

Fashions

Designers were inspired by the aesthetics of the 2000s and lingerie style. At the head of fashion trends are opposites: mini and maxi lengths. In winter, short skirts and shorts are not the warmest option, but they can always be complemented with thick tights and high boots.

Skirts and dresses in the floor look more restrained, but no less sexy. Now long outfits do not have to wait for an important event. Laconic images of maxi length can be worn every day.

Corsets also came to us directly from the noughties. They can be independent closet items. They can also be worn over a skirt or pants. Combinations with delicate dresses and jumpsuits look topical.

Crop tops and bra in lingerie style are perfectly combined with pants and low-slung skirts. They are an independent element, but look beautiful as part of layered images. For example, with a leather jacket or cardigan.

Cutouts on the ribs, hips and waist this season are surprising with their geometric variety. It is important to understand that a monochrome dress with original cuts does not require additional decoration. It is a finished, unusual and laconic image.

Even the simplest bow becomes interesting if you undo the bottom buttons of a shirt or cardigan. But the hearts of designers won and clothes without straps.
