The Japanese gave the world not only sushi, but also unlike anything else systems of recovery. One of them is offered by healer and aikido teacher Katsuzo Nishi. Doctors predicted his early death, but thanks to his method he lived to the age of 75. The scientist believed that treatment should begin with the spine and developed a special exercise “goldfish”.

The exercise corrects posture, improves back condition, blood circulation and is suitable for almost everyone. It improves intestinal function, strengthens abdominal muscles, relieves lower back pain. It also helps to relieve muscle clamps, reduce headaches. How to perform the exercise?
It is recommended to do the exercise in the morning and in the evening. It can be taken as a basis as a warm-up before training. Nothing special will be needed for this – only the surface, your body and imagination, because you will have to make movements similar to the movement of a fish in the water. Another undoubted plus – the exercise can be performed right in bed. This is very convenient, given that few people like to do exercises. With this ritual you can start your day, and you will be energized.
Técnica
- Lie on the floor, using a mat.
- The back is straight, the body is relaxed, the shoulder blades are together, remove the deflection in the lower back.
- The chin tends to the yarema fossa, the back of the head is pressed to the floor.
- Make a wave-like movement of the whole body from the heels to the top of the head to the right and left – as if you were shaking.
- Work the muscles of your back and legs. Arms are not involved, they are crossed in the neck area.
- Move continuously for 30 seconds to two minutes.
- Clothing should be loose, allowing the body to glide. Distribute the load evenly.
Valeria: Some special preparation is not required, but before practicing you can perform a small warm-up. The oscillations should be the same both to the right and to the left. The amplitude should not be too high. Try to breathe evenly, do not make too frequent inhalations and exhalations. This exercise is not a strength exercise, so you should not perform it solely for the number of repetitions – focus on your feelings.
