Cholestasis is a pathological condition of stagnation and reduction of bile excretion from the body. Different reasons lead to this condition, but the main ones are inadequate nutrition and improper lifestyle. In order not to bring the body to a painful state, it is necessary to engage in the prevention of bile stagnation.

Full nutrition, absence of bad habits, healthy sleep and regular physical activity – the basic principles of maintaining health and strength of the body. If you neglect one of the principles, there are problems with the work and condition of all organs.

One of such problems is stagnation of bile or its poor outflow due to biliary dyskinesia, which provokes unpleasant symptoms and painful conditions:

  • a constant feeling of fatigue;
  • white or yellow plaque on the tongue;
  • bad breath;
  • sugar cravings;
  • excess weight gain in the abdominal area.

Bile retention in most clinical cases provokes the development of cholecystitis and other biliary tract diseases.

If you find yourself with one of the symptoms, immediately consult a specialist.

What products stimulate the outflow of bile

Fighting bile stagnation should begin with changes in the habitual diet and with the normalization of drinking regime.

It is recommended to exclude from the menu products that provoke bile stagnation:

  • canned foods and pickles;
  • strong coffee and tea;
  • alcohol;
  • carbonated drinks;
  • chocolate;
  • spicy, salty, smoked foods;
  • radishes, radishes, turnips, onions, garlic;
  • sorrel and spinach (they contain oxalic acid, which irritates the mucous membrane of the digestive tract).

To activate the outflow of bile, it is necessary to add animal fats (eggs, milk and meat) to the menu, because in the absence of animal fats in the diet for a long time, the fluid begins to thicken, the gallbladder becomes “lazy”, working inactively.

Effective choleretics (increase the concentration of bile acids in the bile) and choleretic products

Egg yolk – contains lecithin, which stimulates bile flow and improves the fluidity of bile. Effectively prevents fluid stagnation and stone formation.

Artichoke – helps convert cholesterol into beneficial fatty acids. Contains caffeoylquinic acids, which reduce the level of “harmful” cholesterol (provokes the formation of atherosclerotic plaques and promotes the conversion of cholesterol into bile acids).

Curcuma – due to its curcumin content activates the synthesis of pancreatic and gallbladder enzymes, restores fluid outflow and improves digestion.

Wild rice – an available source of complex carbohydrates, fiber and B vitamins, which are essential for the metabolism of cholesterol and bile formation.

Rosehip – has a high choleretic and diuretic property, which allows you to activate the work of the gallbladder, helps to fight parasites.

Avocado – a valuable source of polyunsaturated fatty acids. Regular consumption of avocado stimulates the release of bile, normalizes the outflow. In addition, it reduces the level of “bad” cholesterol, which helps maintain the liquid state of bile and prevents the formation of stones in the pear-shaped organ.

Beets – a source of the substance betaine, which stimulates the formation of bile and its outflow, cleanses the liver, improves intestinal motility.

Important: if there are no stones in the gallbladder, but diagnosed a violation of the outflow – it is allowed to use choleretic teas. You can brew dandelion leaves, corn stalks, thistle (burdock root), bitter herbs and use spices: turmeric, milk thistle, ginger.

It is recommended to use a choleretic collection of corn stigmas, immortelle flowers, barberry root, rose hips. Such drinks also include beet juice, black radish, fresh cabbage, turnip, horseradish, grape juice.

They should be taken three to four times a day for half an hour before meals. Before using any choleretic drink, you should consult with a specialist to exclude contraindications.

Craving for these groups of products can speak about the lack of microelements in the body.

To keep the gallbladder healthy and not lead to health problems, adhere to a proper lifestyle, do not overeat, balance your diet, be less nervous and take more walks in the fresh air.
