The salad itself is a very healthy dish. And fruit can make it even tastier. If the usual avocado bowls are already boring, try to diversify the flavor palette with the help of unusual combinations. We have collected several unusual recipes from fruits and not only.
Salad “Citrus Charge”

Wash spinach leaves and dress with lemon juice and honey. Add tangerine slices, sliced kiwi and peeled grapefruit slices. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
Baked beets with pistachios, citrus and ricotta cheese

- baked beets – 400 g;
- olive oil – 40 ml;
- grapefruit – 1 pc;
- orange – 1 pc;
- orange juice – 1 tbsp;
- grapefruit juice – 1 tbsp;
- lemon juice – 1 tbsp;
- green pistachio, raw – 40 g;
- shallot or white onion – 25 g;
- parsley or cilantro – a handful of chopped herbs;
- ricotta cheese – 1 package;
- freshly ground black pepper – a pinch;
- honey – 1 tbsp;
- salt – to taste.
Wash the beets. Tails can not be cut off, so that the juice does not flow out during baking. Wrap each root vegetable in foil in two or three layers and place in a fireproof mold. Bake at 200 degrees, from 50 minutes to two hours, depending on the size of the root vegetable. Readiness can be checked with a fork: if freely enters when pricking – ready. After that, peel the beets from the skin, cut into slices.
For the sauce, grind the pistachios in a mortar, slightly crushed, without grinding them into a paste. Peel the grapefruit and orange with a knife so as to cut off the peel and the white films connecting the slices. With a sharp knife, make longitudinal cuts so that the pulp is separated, bypassing the films. Put the nuts in a bowl, add the lemon, grapefruit and orange juice, finely chopped onion and a spoonful of honey. Stirring, pour in a thin stream of olive oil, salt and pepper.
In a separate bowl, mix the beets with the citrus sauce to prevent the other salad ingredients from turning beet color. Place beets, orange and grapefruit slices in a bowl. Add ricotta slices, sprinkle with greens and drizzle with dressing. Finish with a sprinkle of crushed pistachios.
Light fruit salad in an orange bowl

- oranges – 4 pcs;
- pomegranate – 1 pc;
- kiwi – 1 pc;
- mandarins – 1-2 pcs;
- berries to taste;
- banana – 1 pc;
- pear – 1 pc;
- grapes to taste;
- vanilla, cinnamon, powdered sugar to taste;
- jam or non-fat yogurt to taste;
- clove umbrellas for decoration.
Wash the oranges, cut off the tops and carefully remove the pulp to make “pialkas”. Decorate with clove umbrellas.
Fruit and berries, chosen to taste, wash thoroughly, cut into cubes, slices or circles – as you like. Separate pomegranate into grains, grapes – into separate berries. The pulp of the orange can also be used in the salad.
At the bottom of the “bowls” lay out a little jam or nonfat unsweetened yogurt, then fill with fruit. Decorate the top with pomegranate grains. The salad can be sprinkled with cinnamon and chopped nuts.
