A tasty and nourishing morning meal is extremely important from a nutritional point of view and can definitely lift your mood at the beginning of the day. We’ve picked out ten easy recipes for you that can be served for breakfast instead of the usual, already boring oatmeal. Spoiler: we’ve found a healthy alternative for oatmeal lovers too!
Cheese pancakes
Ingredientes:
- milk – 200 ml;
- eggs – 2 pcs;
- flour – 100 g;
- cheese – 100 g;
- dill;
- salt to taste;
- leavening agent – 1 teaspoon.
Method of preparation
In advance, put a frying pan on the fire to heat it up. At the same time mix in a bowl milk, eggs, flour, leavening agent, grated cheese and finely chopped dill. Add salt to taste. Spread some batter over the entire surface of the skillet and bake the pancakes on both sides until golden.
Berry smoothie
Ingredientes:
- banana – 1 pc;
- a handful of frozen strawberries;
- a handful of pitted cherries;
- milk – you can use vegetable milk;
- sugar or sweetener to taste.
How to prepare
Cut the banana into circles and add to a blender along with the berries, milk, sugar or sweetener. Whisk all the contents, distribute into glasses and enjoy the fresh flavor.
Omelette in pita
Ingredientes:
- eggs – 2 pcs;
- cheese – 20 g;
- tomato – 1 pc;
- herbs;
- pita;
- salt and pepper to taste.
How to prepare
Beat eggs in a bowl, add chopped tomatoes, herbs, salt, pepper and mix. Place a pita on a dry, heated skillet and pour the mixture over it. Wrap and fry until crispy on both sides.
Cheese waffles
Ingredientes:
- flour (you can take rice flour) – 120-130 g;
- yogurt, kefir or biolact – 150 ml;
- eggs – 2 pcs;
- light cheese – 100 g;
- leavening agent – 5 g;
- salt and spices to taste;
- sweetener – 0,5 g ⠀
Preparation method
Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Preheat a waffle iron or skillet and grease the surface with oil. Pour in the batter and bake for 7-10 minutes.
If you open the waffle iron and see that the waffles are not fully cooked or have come apart, don’t worry. Just continue baking them for another 2-3 minutes.
Oatmeal Casserole
Ingredientes:
- pears – 350 g;
- long-cooked oats – 400 g;
- milk (vegetable or regular) – 500 ml;
- coconut oil – 2 tablespoons;
- ground flax seeds – 2 tablespoons;
- maple syrup – 2 tablespoons;
- cinnamon – 1 teaspoon;
- guest nuts;
- berries and seeds.⠀
Preparation method
Lay out all the ingredients in layers in a casserole dish and put it in an oven heated to 180 degrees for 25-40 minutes. The casserole can be sprinkled with maple syrup and yogurt, and decorated with berries and seeds.
Banana ice cream
Ingredientes:
- bananas – 2 pcs;
- milk – 3-5 tablespoons.⠀
Preparation method
Cut bananas into circles and put them in the freezer for at least 4 hours. Then whisk in a blender frozen fruit, add milk and whisk again. Bon appetit!
