Strength in motion: why you shouldn’t be shy about your shape?

Some people think that if a girl is engaged in sports, she must necessarily look like Victoria’s Secret angels. However, few people think that models often do not turn to physical activity to achieve such a figure. It is possible to keep yourself in shape and watch your health not only with a perfect “Instagram” figure: after all, every girl is unique, as well as her body. And waist circumference is not the main indicator of sports achievements.

Every figure is unique

Often in social networks, on the covers of magazines and in the movies show the standard, driven into the framework of beauty. And even if in the movie a girl goes to the gym, her figure is already perfect and adjusted to the established canons. However, all this is far from real life and real women with their real forms.

Of course, there are those whose body structure allows you to achieve the parameters imposed by the mass industry. But these are a minority. While many girls are embarrassed by their figure, and when it does not work to “fix” it, begin to blame themselves for allegedly insufficient efforts. The figure on the scale and the size of clothes is not an indicator

Many people don’t quite understand what body positivity is. Some people consider this attitude to their own body as nothing more than an excuse for laziness and unwillingness to engage in self-care. In fact, this is not the case at all. Slimness does not mean health, and lush forms are not always indicative of problems.

A girl can do sports, look after herself and still weigh as much as you want. “Cherished” 45 kg from communities “Vkontakte” in the late 2000s – a stereotype based on nothing. It is important to understand that the figure on the scale or on the label of clothing in no way characterizes your health or figure. Much more important is how you feel and how comfortable you are in your own body.
