About the benefits of beer can be talked about only in the framework of moderate consumption. An adult without health restrictions for a positive effect can drink no more than 300 ml of the drink – no more than once a week.

If you observe the measure, beer can be useful. So, a glass of the drink replenishes the reserves of nicotinic and folic acid in the body. These substances are needed to prevent cardiovascular disease, stimulate blood circulation, improve metabolism and brain activity.

Beer also contains polyphenols – chemical compounds that have antioxidant, antimicrobial, antidiabetic properties. But these natural substances can also be found in more useful products.

The drink acts as a diuretic, but not everyone will benefit from it. On the one hand, those who drink beer in moderation are much less likely to suffer from kidney stones. On the other hand, in parallel, a large number of microelements are washed out of the body, that is, there is a deficiency.

In what cases the drink is useful for women’s health

Beer contains a whole vitamin cocktail, useful for the female body. Namely magnesium, iron, calcium, potassium, phosphorus, B vitamins, vitamin PP, basic amino acids, organic acids and others.

Compared to other alcoholic and even non-alcoholic sweet drinks, beer contains a minimal amount of calories. Also with moderate consumption improves digestion and accelerates metabolism.

In order not to harm the figure, you should not snack on beer with harmful snacks. It is better to supplement the drink with products rich in fiber (vegetables) and protein (seafood, meat products, hard cheeses).

Important: despite the fact that the drink does contain useful substances, some of them are in an inactive form, that is, they are not useful. Plus their content is very insignificant to talk about a positive effect on health. Therefore, beer does more harm than good. We already get everything we need from food, provided we have a balanced diet.

Who should not drink beer

Beer, like any alcoholic beverage, can be drunk only in moderation. It can not be used by pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, children under 18 years old, people with chronic diseases of the cardiovascular system and gastrointestinal tract. Also, the product is incompatible with sedatives and antibiotics.
