Fire, water, air and earth also help to fight stress. Planting and watering flowers and plants, roasting something on a fire (not in urban areas, of course) or lighting aroma candles, taking a bath are all effective ways to combat moping.

Creative techniques

Another way to clear your mind is to draw with your eyes closed or with an unfamiliar hand. If you are right-handed, try drawing with a pencil in your left hand, if you are left-handed – vice versa. You can also try creating a picture using your fingers or feet.

Singing, dancing, reading poems (you can choose one that suits your mood and read it aloud) can all help you get rid of bad thoughts.

Food as an emotional helper

Some food can change the psycho-emotional state. Thus, light food gives strength, energy and vigor, while heavier food can “ground”. It is also important to get enough vitamins from vegetables, fruits and herbs.
