Motorcycle jackets and bombers are becoming the trend of the season and transcending their subcultures

To understand how and with what to combine a bomber or motorcycle jacket, you need to determine how authentic, in our case biker-style, you want to look and for what. And, of course, remember that any subculture does not like too familiar flirtations.

What to wear moto jackets and bombers with? There are several options.

If you are not related to the brotherhood of fans of iron horses, do not buy frankly biker elements of the closet: protective equipment in the form of jackets and pants with special inserts or vests of “naughty” hard leather, which are distinctive attributes of club bikers and motorcyclists seeking to join their ranks.

It is expensive, and you can get into embarrassing history when communicating with the carriers of motorcycle culture. Better to opt for stylizations and adaptations a la biker aesthetics.

Motorcycle jackets, which are the trend of the current and next year, in the collections of designers conventionally belong to two directions within the same subculture: motorcycle jackets with reference to track protective clothing and motorcycle jackets of rockers of the late twentieth century. The former are about dynamics, speed, some futurism as a desire to outrun time. And the latter are about rebellion against the established picture of the world.

You can wear them with joggers. And, of course, with pants inspired by motorsport pants – both from technological and wear-resistant cotton fabrics.

In other words, thanks to the classic silhouette, they can be combined with almost anything: at least with an office shirt, at least with an organza skirt – all these options are quite organic, but in some combinations will simply reduce the degree of authenticity.

Jackets based on the motifs of kosuha and pilot jackets have a direct relation to the aesthetics of rebels. They too are combined with all the previously listed outfits, but rebellion requires great contrasts in modern women’s fashion. Therefore, if the motorsports jacket allows a couple of details with similar texture, that is, leather with leather, for example, the rocker jacket requires the opposite texture and approach – silk, chiffon, sequined fabric, complex draperies and unexpected solutions to the cut, if the girl does not go under a burnt biker.

Guys in this sense is easier. The most popular and universal variants: cargo pants, pants made of suede or matte leather, jeans or pants imitating fabric protective motorcycle pants. T-shirts, longsleeves, hoodies and sweatshirts in Sinner’s Bones natural or rich sophisticated colors are perfect as base layers.

Do not forget about accessories: belt bags and belts in the appropriate aesthetics, bandanas, heavy brutal bracelets and rings of steel and silver colors in biker-rocker aesthetics and technological in the style of minimalism – for motorsports. To the latter, by the way, caps fit perfectly, if the whole image is “on sport”.

And finally, the main rule: don’t forget that motocultural clothing is very gendered, so follow the proportions, according to which a guy should look like a guy, a girl – like a girl, and not vice versa.
