The annual winter freestyle competition Russian Freestyle Games returns in a new format.

When: from March 19 to March 25.
Where: on the territory of the ski resort “Sunny Valley” in Miass (Chelyabinsk region).
About the event: for the second year in a row the spring freestyle Happy Hour Camp will be held in Miass, within the framework of which the Russian Freestyle Games in big-air and slopestyle disciplines will be held: for the first time on big-air there will be also snowboarding competitions. Professionals and amateurs will gather in the largest snow park of the country, you will enjoy entertainment and sports programs and a lot of impressions.

Happy Hour Camp is a week-long spring camp in one of the best and most well-equipped parks in the country. Happy Hour Camp was held for the first time in 2017 and became so popular that there was no doubt: this is the birth of a new tradition and for many years to come to Sunny Valley in late March, convinced fans of winter extreme and outdoor activities will come to ski and relax. Among the guests of the 2018 camp, which will be held with the support of Black Monster – Monster Energy in Russia, are expected outstanding Russian athletes (including Grigory Fuseyev, winner of the Russian Freestyle Games 2015 and nominee for the “Rider of the Year” award according to downdays.eu), foreign riders of the Black Monster team and other bright representatives of the winter extreme industry.

The Happy Hour Camp program includes experience exchange with the best riders of the country, master classes on ski and snowboard freestyle, photo and video shooting, skiing in the largest amateur snow park in Russia and the most pumped park with pro sections – and, of course, hot parties, the best rest from which is even more skiing in the park and on the slopes! The guests of the camp will also enjoy mini-contests in the park and various contests and activities from the junior partners of the event.

The last two days of the camp on March 24 and 25 will feature the Russian Freestyle Games 2018 competitions, thoroughly supported by the administration and the Ministry of Sports of the Chelyabinsk Region, the Russian Freestyle Federation, the National Ski League, the Ski Sports Association (RSA) and the International Ski Federation (FIS). The competitions themselves are part of the official FIS seasonal calendar and are open to FIS-accredited riders who are ready to test their strength on a ski jump with a table of more than 20 meters (!) and challenge other competitors. The Russian Freestyle Games 2018 qualification heats will include the Russian Ski Freestyle Championship.
