A Singaporean man pumped himself up in 100 days with a workout program from a cartoon. You can do it too.

Sean Seah, a resident of Singapore, decided to exercise using a program from the anime “One-Punch Man”. In the cartoon the main character has incredible strength thanks to a special training program: every day he does 100 push-ups and squats, does 100 twists on the abs and runs 10 km. Sean decided to try to replicate this program and started his One Punch-Man Challenge. He shared his successes on YouTube.

In the video, the guy admits that he didn’t have good fitness and wasn’t able to perform 100 reps right away. He suggests choosing a comfortable level by breaking the program into 10 stages. Sean himself started with level 5.

  • Sean also got into nutrition: he stopped eating sweets, fried foods and sodas, and added fruit to his diet. Over time, he decided to diversify his workouts and stopped running every day. As a result, he managed to perform the program completely, lose 7 kg and achieve a relief body.

    In another video, Sean told 8 facts about his workouts.

    1. He performed exercises in 2-3 approaches.
    2. Tracked results and changes through the Nike Run app and body composition analyzer.
    3. Spent about 45 minutes a day working out.
    4. Some days he did fewer reps so he had time to recover.
    5. Sometimes he did static before running and sometimes after.
    6. Gave up sugar, high-carbohydrate foods, and fried foods.
    7. Ate fruit to replace sugar.
    8. Turned on the air conditioner when he slept because Singapore is hot.

    Sean is not the only one who has tried to replicate the Wanpanchman program. The Facebook group “One Punch Man Workout” has more than 20,000 people, and the hashtag #onepunchmanchallenge in Instagram has about 3,500 posts.
