3 best glamping sites in the Moscow Region, where you can recover your strength over the weekend
An all-inclusive vacation awaits you, and not only.
Under glamping is understood many different things, but they are united by one important feature – it is a stylish, non-capital structure, which is located in the very center of the natural territory. People go there for its sake, without disturbing the ecosystem of the area. We have selected several options that meet these criteria.
Sergei Petrov
serial entrepreneur from Moscow, co-founder of glamping Under the Sky
Glamping can include absolutely different constructions. For example, our glamping has 18 safari tents, very large tents standing on a wooden platform, 16-25 square meters in area. They contain exactly the same things as a hotel room, except, perhaps, the walls – they are replaced by the fabric of the tent. There are other variants of constructions, which are made similar to frame house construction. These are geocupola, orthocupola, a-frames – so-called triangular houses. In my opinion, glamping should not contaminate the surrounding nature, so we adhere to the principles of zero-waste and also follow the practice of reasonable consumption.
“Under the Sky.”
“The Power of the Wind.”
Another interesting glamping in the Moscow region is located in the Mytishchi urban district on the shore of the Pirogovsky reservoir. Its peculiarity is that the guest houses are made of sea containers. On the territory of the glamping there is a common barbecue zone, where everyone can cook fragrant food on coals. Each cabin has a kitchen, so you can bring your own food and cook your favorite dishes right on the spot or order delivery. Active recreation lovers can try their hand at yachting.
“Wind Power”
“Ruza Alaska.”
This place also stands out. “Ruzskaya Alaska” is unique with its tipi houses, which were created according to the canons of ancient Indian dwellings. Ethnic coloring of each tipi is connected with ancient Slavic mythology, which creates a unique atmosphere for the guest. Inside the room is made in a mixed style – Russian patchwork bedspreads handmade by an Ivanovo craftswoman, lamps from India, a dream catcher from Indian culture.
Husky Village “Ruzskaya Alaska”
Sergej: “Ruzskaya Alaska” has also set up a real working kennel for northern sled dogs, where guests can experience life as it is. The profits from the kennel tours are spent on infrastructure and improving the lives of the animals, who receive professional handler care.
