What kind of massage will help with neck and back pain?
Discomfort and pain in the cervical or back area is extremely common nowadays. Different massage techniques can only briefly eliminate unpleasant sensations, but without working with the cause itself (usually muscle imbalance) it will not be possible to get rid of the painful symptom.
If we talk about the nature of painful sensations, there can be several options, the main ones:
- Problems of an “internal” nature. They may be related to diseases of the organs, nervous system, bones or spinal column (including protrusions or herniated discs).

The best way would be to ask a knowledgeable fitness trainer to teach the right techniques in 2-3 workouts for later use at home. Don’t forget to check that the trainer has been trained in this area and has the appropriate certificate. In addition, remember that a really competent instructor will not refuse your request. As mentioned in the beginning, massage is a way to take away the pain for a short while. If you don’t address the cause of the pain, you will have to resort to massage very often, wasting time and money.
