Rozbor letov: ako si vybrať správne fitness zariadenie?

Looking stylish and beautiful at a workout is no easy task. And to feel comfortable at the same time – just a mission on the verge of fantasy. But we know how to fix it. Together with stylist Evgenia Postnikova we have prepared for you 5 successful and unsuccessful images for gym sessions. Let’s analyze typical mistakes and get inspired by perfect combinations.

Remember that there are no bad sports clothes, there are things worn at the wrong workout or at the wrong time.

The first image is maximally comfortable for different kinds of loads at the training. Sports bra allows you to perform movements that do not restrain your hands, run, do cardio. If we put on a polyester top, as in the second variant, for training in the gym – it will not be functional: we will quickly sweat and we will be uncomfortable.

Summary: for indoor training, choose the lightest clothes possible. A supportive bra or a crop top will look very organic in tandem with high-waisted tights. Such an image will emphasize the natural curves of the body and will not constrain your movements.

It is important to realize that there are sportswear for gym, there are clothes for outdoor activities, and there is sports style. A lot of people confuse these concepts and work out in the gym in things that aren’t meant for working out. A warm sweatshirt or sweatshirt is the very element of clothing that belongs to the sports style. It will look great on a trip or on a walk, but not in the gym.

Choose the right shoes. Similarly, there are sneakers designed for the gym, for running or outdoor workouts and of course, just stylish sneakers that are not designed for sports. They should not be confused. First of all, poorly chosen shoes deform the foot, and if you run, jump or intensively load your feet using the wrong sneakers, it will be very easy to get injured.

Sneakers designed for the gym are also highly undesirable for walking on the street. They are usually very light, on a thin sole, and in any precipitation, you will easily get your feet wet.

Summary: it’s important to use your shoes for their intended purpose.

The sweatshirt in the second look is also more for an outdoor workout.

Lifehack: always read the labels, manufacturers usually indicate what type of training the item is intended for.

Clothes should be true to size. Many girls are self-deceived and buy XS for size S. This restrains the movements, because of which suffers, and the result of the training process is negated. Exactly the same effect is observed with clothes of a larger size. Since almost all sportswear is made of polyester and elastane, it fits the figure quite tightly and carries a corrective function. If the item fits correctly, you will feel comfortable.

My favorite uniform is leggings and a crop top or sports bra. This is the option when you want to do a variety of workouts and don’t want to mess around with clothes. In this form it is quite convenient to run and do strength training.

In turn, I wear a sweatshirt or a long-sleeved longsleeve sweatshirt for street workouts. Just like you can’t overheat in the gym, you can’t get overcooled on the street. After a run, you can easily get cold, sick and reduce the benefits of training to zero. Therefore, the second option (on the photo) is also appropriate, but not in the format of a fitness room.
