Gran Fondo Russia: at the end of the season

The final Gran Fondo Russia race of the 2017 season will take a new route.

On September 17, the third and final race of the country’s most popular road cycling event, Gran Fondo Russia, will take place on the roads of Volokolamsk and Klin districts of the Moscow region.

Gran Fondo Russia has managed to win love and good reputation among cyclists.

Traditionally, participants are offered a choice of three distances. At the fall Gran Fondo it will be possible to ride 30 km, 60 km or 100 km in the format of a bike race. This year, the longest distance (100 km) cycling race format was also introduced. Now the bravest and most ambitious will be able to compete for the first places and win prizes from partners. In addition, on September 17, the scores for all races will be calculated and the winners of this season will be announced

The distinctive feature of the Gran Fondo is not only the unification of lovers of measured cycling and real professionals of cycling on one route, but also the uniqueness of the routes outside the city. This time a new route laid out in Volokolamsk and Klin districts of Moscow region with the start at Moscow Raceway awaits the participants.

The route runs on public roads, so there will be limited vehicular traffic in the following directions:

Volokolamskoye highway from the village Fedyukovo to the Chismena railway station;

from Chismena railway station to Teryaevo village;

from the village of Teryaevo to the village of Paveltsevo.
