Choose a location according to your requests: a historical center, a noisy park or a deserted forest with trails and uneven terrain.

Moscow has long been warming, so there are enough cyclists on the streets. Each of them can choose a place to ride depending on their interests and level of training. We tell you where you can spend time with your two-wheeled friend.

For those who are on trend

Gorky Park is the most popular among cyclists. Even if you don’t have your own vehicle, you can rent a bike here and ride around the whole territory: alleys, grounds, embankment. For walking in the dark, the park has paths with a special coating. If the park is not enough for you, you can ride along the longest bicycle path in Moscow, it unites Luzhniki, Frunzenskaya and Pushkinskaya embankments, Museon, Neskuchny Garden, Vorobyovy Gory and Victory Park. At your discretion you can stop at any point of the route and continue riding on a separate location. It is not possible to set speed records here, as there are a lot of people around, including children, but you can arrange a leisurely bike ride in good company.

For nature lovers

If you do not like riding among a large number of people, you can go to Elk Island. The reserve is also very popular, but it occupies a very large territory, which has not only wide asphalted paths, but also small paths where you can hide from everyone.

Also for those who like to ride alone, Bittsevsky Park is suitable. Here, too, there is a rental of bicycles and not only, and bicycle paths are provided for riding. But there are those who are not interested in moving on the asphalt, so they go to the ravines or various hills, which in winter are used by skiers. In short, everyone will find their own way to relax here.

Another place for those who like to enjoy nature is Fili Park. Through the entire territory there is a bicycle path eight kilometers long. Also Filiovsky Park is perfect for those for whom bicycling is primarily a sport. Freeride competitions are often held here, there are high-speed sections with large drops and long descents.

For those who can’t do without sport

In addition, fans of bicycle training will find something to occupy themselves in the park Troparyovo. There are steep descents, long climbs, natural and artificial obstacles in the rugged terrain. Those who have little interest in extreme riding have not been forgotten here either, there are a large number of decorated bicycle paths throughout the park.

Those who are professionals can try their hand at the Krylatskoe cycle track . The length of the track is 333.3 meters, thanks to a special design athletes can reach a speed of 90 km/h. And if you think that the cycle track is not your level, you can ride on the bicycle paths around the building or on the open circular cycle track, which is located across the street.

And to make sure your training doesn’t go to waste, you can test your strength by taking part in the Gran Fondo Russia races.
