What foods will help prevent puffiness and get rid of existing ones?
The best remedies for edema are a nutritious diet, healthy sleep and prevention. Regarding prevention, I will give a few recommendations:
- engage in regular physical activity (running, walking, swimming, fitness or gym);
- sleep at least 7-8 hours a day;
- choose a quality pillow and mattress for sleeping;
- limit the amount of salt in food and products;
- add to the diet products that help reduce and prevent edema.
We will dwell on the last point in more detail.

Tea tannins strengthen the walls of blood vessels, promote the elimination of toxins, especially heavy metals. Green tea theobromine has a diuretic effect, which also helps to relieve swelling.
