This summer you will have access to more than 4 thousand bicycles and 430 stations throughout the city. We decided to remind you how to rent an “iron horse” and what you need for that.

In order to register, you need a bank card, a phone or a bike rental terminal. After you enter your data on the website velobike.ru, in the mobile application “VeloBike” (App Store or Google Play) or in the terminal, your phone number will receive an SMS with login and password to enter your personal account.

Tariff selection and payment

You can also pay for access through your personal cabinet (in the app, on the website or through a terminal). You need to choose the rental access: for a day, a month or a season.

Immediately after the start of the rental, you can use the bike for 30 minutes for free. For a trip of up to one hour you will have to pay from 30 rubles to 3 thousand.

Pay attention to the extended tariff, which provides trips up to 45 minutes instead of 30 and insurance, as well as the tariff “On FAN 2018”, which guarantees access to the rental for three days and extends the time of free use up to 60 minutes.

Choosing a bike

Now the most important thing is to choose a free bike at one of the 430 stations, check it for damage and, if you are happy with everything, enter your login and password on the bike’s electronic lock. Wait for the message that the rental has started.

Returning your bike

You can return your bike to any free station at any time. To do this, drive up to a vacant parking station and secure your bike. Wait for the inscription “return OK” on the lock and a text message confirming the end of the rental.

What should I do if my bike breaks down?

Do not panic and call +7(495) 966-4-669 to the support service. You will be asked to give a description of the fault, the number of the bike and leave it at the station.

Who can borrow a bicycle?

You can rent a bicycle if you:

– are over 16 years of age,

– are not under the influence of alcohol,

– do not intend to ride outside the Moscow Ring Road and on expressways,

– do not intend to transport other people on it, including children.

How to rent an electric bicycle?

The same rates apply for renting electric bikes, no additional registration is required.

Be sure to check the charge level. If all three indicators are lit, the energy is enough for 18 kilometers, yellow and red – for 10 kilometers, red – for five. Be careful, a flashing red light means the bike is not yet charged.

The electric bicycle should be returned only to the power station, otherwise you will face a fine of 1 thousand rubles.

To turn on an electric bike, you need to press the red button on the right and gently press the speed trigger.
