Weekend in Moscow: opening of the skating rink in the Park of Legends

Opening of one of the best ice arenas according to professional hockey players.

On December 2 and 3, the opening of the ice arena on the territory of the sports and entertainment quarter “Park Legends” will take place.

During the opening days the guests of the ice rink will enjoy an entertainment program and shows on the ice, mass skating, master classes for adults and children in figure skating by Alexey Yagudin, excursions to the Museum of Hockey.

On December 3 from 13:30 fans of HC Spartak will be able to ride on the ice with their mascot – Gladiator of the Red-Whites.

The opening days of the rink will start at 13:00 and admission is free.

In addition to entertainment on the ice, all those who come to the Park of Legends this weekend will be able to take part in a big test drive of the new SUBARU XV car. Participants of the test drive will have to visit the labyrinth of engineering thought and solve difficult problems. Also in the program: science shows with fascinating experiments and master classes for the youngest ones.

The upcoming winter season will be the third for the ice rink in the territory of the Park Legends sports and entertainment quarter. It is a part of the outdoor stadium, which in summertime works as a soccer field. Professional hockey players and ice industry experts have already named the site one of the best street ice arenas in Moscow.

In the new season the rink will continue to delight guests with regular mass skating, master classes from leading athletes, sports tournaments in hockey, curling and other winter sports. Hockey fans can also get lessons from a personal trainer and try on hockey equipment at CCM’s “Hockey Hours”.

In front of the rink there is the first Russian Hockey Museum, where everyone can get acquainted with the history of victories of the national team, see unique exhibits and take part in informative excursions.
