What useful habits did we get after the coronavirus pandemic?
First of all, the coronavirus infection showed how unprepared humans and humanity are for any, even the most minimal strain. How accustomed we have become to basic goods, sanitation and medicine that we have even stopped taking care of our own health and safety on our own.
Coronavirus infection reminded us how important it is to keep our immune system in tone, take care of the microorganisms inside us, eat right, and control vitamin and mineral deficiencies.
Here are some more important healthy habits that we remembered and that you definitely shouldn’t forget.
Wash your hands regularly
Yes, people have finally remembered that it is not enough to just wipe your hands with a damp cloth. It is important to wash them with soap and as often as possible! Antiseptic, antibacterial sprays and eye and nose drops have entered everyone’s household. We remembered such a wonderful remedy as oxolin ointment, began to better watch what “lick” and “wipe” children.
In many institutions there appeared antibacterial means for air treatment. There were new sanitation standards for treating tables, railings, walls, and desks in public and private organizations. In short, we have been reminded that we are in a not entirely safe environment.
Take vitamins
Thanks to coveted vitamins that many city dwellers are in short supply of, particularly vitamin C, D and zinc. These nutrients are essential for immune system function. Also, many have turned to herbal and natural alternatives to vitamin supplements – rosehip decoction, sage, mint, thyme and other herbs. Such natural superfoods help the body recover from any illness and prevent it from developing again.
Summer is the season of many fruits and vegetables, luscious sources of vitamins. But is it possible to stock up on them for the year ahead? We tell you in our article.
Take care of your intestines
Due to the covid and long-term antibiotics, all patients were additionally taking pro- and prebiotics. And although restoring the microbial layer in the gut is not easy, many have at least learned where it is and why it is so important.
Better health literacy
Most of the population, unrelated to medicine in any way, has never delved into complex medical terms and manipulations. Thanks to covid, we learned what antibodies and antigens are, how PCR works, and what an MRI or CT scan is for. The pandemic gave a boost to collective development in the field of health.
Exercise more
Many of those who survived the coronavirus realized that exercise is essential. First, to learn to breathe normally again. Second, to finally get out of the house after being isolated for so long.

Wear masks in crowded places
Despite the fact that the mask regimen to many people seems wrong, useless, ineffective, we have learned to use masks for their intended purpose. Wearing a mask in places with a lot of people will not hurt and not in a pandemic.
Work remotely
The remote format of work, of course, is not always positive for health. But it is he who has allowed many to get acquainted with online learning, yoga and Pilates courses, fitness nights. And in the conditions of office work, many people did not have enough time and energy for such activities.
