No matter how much a girl maintains her shape during pregnancy, the birth of a child can not help but affect the figure. And although it is a natural process, it is not easy for many to part with cherished abs and thin waist. And to return the former appearance is even harder.

However, it is not worth it to get upset and give up. Fitness-blogger Emily Sky from Australia proves by personal example that you need to love your body and take care of it under any circumstances. And it is possible to achieve slimness even after having two children.

Easy workouts and a healthy attitude to the body

Emily Sky is a 35-year-old blogger from Queensland, Australia. The girl has more than 2.5 million followers on Instagram, who have shared the story of the birth of her two children with her.

For many years, Skye regularly trains, physical activity is an integral part of her life. Therefore, even during her pregnancy, the blogger did not refuse to exercise. Although the number and intensity of classes, of course, had to reduce.

Preparing for the birth of her second child, Emily performed light exercises to keep in shape and shared her successes in her Instagram. She filmed one of her workouts just hours before giving birth.

Skye’s fitness level allowed her certain liberties in the training process. However, in each of her posts, she warns that it’s a good idea to consult a doctor before any exercise during pregnancy.

Self-love, perseverance and patience

Emily admitted that when she first saw her body after giving birth, she cried. But, according to her, they were tears of happiness and pride. “I was in love with my body and amazed at what it had just done – bringing my son into this world. How amazing our bodies are!”, Skye writes.

Many women are concerned about how they will look after giving birth. During pregnancy, the body inevitably changes: the body gains weight, the skin stretches and it is not easy to get back its tone. But this is normal. The blogger warns that you should not rush with training. First, you need to recover and make sure that the main organs, which were subjected to additional load, have returned to normal.

Skye advises to pay special attention to the organs and muscles of the pelvic floor. There are special exercises for its strengthening and recovery after childbirth. To choose the optimal ones, the girl recommends to contact her therapist, gynecologist or other knowledgeable doctor.

The former form after the birth of a child will not return at the snap of fingers. To see relief muscles again, you will have to have patience and diligence and try hard. “After childbirth you have to be more tolerant of yourself and patient. You won’t get abs in one evening – it takes a lot of hard work,” but it’s worth it, says Emily.
