Dopamine – the hormone of joy

Adrenaline and cortisol are stress hormones
During exercise, adrenaline is also produced, which affects glucose metabolism and fat burning. But its effect does not last long – only a few minutes. Nevertheless, during this time, important processes take place: all body systems are activated, speed and strength gains increase, and fat deposits are burned.
Cortisol, a hormone that promotes tissue breakdown, is also produced in response to strength training. It is also released during stress and low blood sugar levels.
