What are vinegar and citric acid for?

Apple cider vinegar or lemon juice makes sense to use in order to raise the level of acidity in the stomach. This, in turn, contributes to the accelerated breakdown of food.

In addition, vinegar speeds up digestive processes and reduces appetite. The acidic environment reduces the number of pathogenic bacteria and normalizes the microflora. Also in natural apple cider vinegar contains many useful elements. For example, magnesium, calcium, potassium, iron and sodium. There are also organic acids in it – glycolic, malic and, of course, citric and acetic acids.

Moreover, apple cider vinegar is considered an excellent anti-inflammatory agent.

Is the “vinegar” diet effective?

Some of those who have tried a diet using vinegar, believe that this is quite an effective way and so it is quite possible to lose extra pounds. Careful and judicious use of apple cider vinegar really allows you to lose weight, says the expert. It helps to reduce appetite and burn fat, and also helps to get rid of cellulite.

At the same time, you do not need to expose your body to stressful situations and severe restrictions, to abruptly refuse various products, starve yourself and the more so to exhaust yourself with hours of training.

To lose weight, vinegar is diluted in water in this proportion: one teaspoon per glass of water. Drink this solution should be at the rate of one glass per 30 kg of weight. That is, a person weighing 60 kg should drink two glasses daily.

What is the danger of such a diet?

You need to be extremely careful with the use of acetic and citric acids, especially with problems with the gastrointestinal tract. In such a case, it is worth refraining from “vinegar” diets. And if you still want to try, the nutriciologist recommends drinking water through a tube. Also after consumption, you should rinse your mouth, since the tooth enamel reacts badly to acidic environments.

Remember that this is not a magical way to lose weight. You should not pin your hopes solely on it. Such a diet can only be an additional help on the way to a perfect body.
