What foot problems can splashing on shoes and clothing tell you about? How to fix it?

Normally, when we move, we first rest the heel on the surface, then roll to the outer arch of the foot to the toe and big toe. This is the correct biomechanics of walking. Often its deviations can be seen even with the naked eye. It is enough to ask someone to observe the gait. In addition, the violation of biomechanics can be noticed by yourself.

It is flat feet – one of the main causes of changes in the biomechanics of walking. The feet must take on all the impacts on the surface and protect the musculoskeletal system from this load. With flat feet, the shape of the feet gradually changes because their arches flatten. When the feet become flatter, the person starts to lean on the entire sole while walking. In this way, the spring function of the feet is impaired: the shock load is less well cushioned.

Such a gait leads to a greater impact of the feet on the surface when walking, which can contribute to the formation of excess dirt on shoes or clothing. Flat feet are often accompanied by symptoms such as heaviness, fatigue and pain in the feet. All of these, too, affect foot placement and, as a result, the formation of mud drips.

Other problems

Another common foot disease is the heel spur. With this pathology, there is a sensation that a stone has fallen under the heel, a stabbing pain is constantly felt. It is caused by a formed bone spike, which presses on the soft tissues, causing discomfort. The spike appears against the background of inflammation of the plantar fascia – a ligament that connects the heel bone with the toes.

Heel spur occurs due to excessive load on the feet, caused by flat feet and wearing the wrong shoes (heels, flat soles), injuries and overweight. Pathology can lead to lameness and, as a consequence, to changes in gait and foot placement.

It is worth noting and “ossicle” – deviation of the big toe of the foot to the outer side. This pathology also negatively affects the manner of walking.

Correct the biomechanics of walking help orthopedic insoles that support the feet in a physiologically correct position. Products reduce the likelihood of flat feet, heel spurs, “bones”, help to combat these diseases, if they are already bothersome.

You can try an orthopedic mat. Walking on a massage mat – an excellent prevention of flat feet and other deformities. Such activities are suitable for both children and adults. They help to train the muscles of the foot, strengthen the ankle joints of the legs and improve blood circulation.
